When you get right down to it, this is the story of two documentary filmmakers trying to get answers from someone who cannot give them, and probably would not care to if he could.  Despite the (potentially, in Episode 1) monumentally high stakes - and the lengths Casey and Eli will go to realize their hopes - the story never strays from that core central action.

That, in the end, is what makes it good!

After watching the first episode again this morning I continue to be impressed with this first attempt. I hooked up my laptop to my big screen tv and it only worked better and looked very professional.  I was trying to think about what I liked the best and I think it was that whole effort came together so seamlessly.  I liked that this episode left you with more questions than answers which makes me look forward to the next episode. Is this couple really who they appear to be? Why did they take this being home instead of the authorities? What brought this being  to this particular area and driving a truck? Why is he affecting Casey in this way? Is he alone? How is all that was happening on the night in question around this chance meeting connected to Dean and his purpose for being here? Who else knows he's here?  I'll just have to stay tuned. The music was cool too.
