Wrapping Up Phase One
As I finish the rough draft of the SkyChasers game and work through the next draft of the Heartsgaard play, I'm staring some big Sam Bailey landmarks in the face: Polishing the current draft, and writing the Operating Agreement for the LLC.
Once both of those documents are complete, Sam Bailey will be in a position to start signing our equity partners. That means formally executing our plan for distribution. It also means securing financing. Those two elements are nothing short of holy grails to 95% of the independent filmmakers out there.
All this is possible because of you. In this economy and changing media landscape, it's the folks out there talking about Sam Bailey that give a reason for business partners and financers to believe in what we're doing.
That might even be the way it's supposed to work. After all, it's you we're making the movie for.
