Whoa! Whose been writing Sam Bailey blogs? It's a Bird! It's a Zebra! It's...Jameson Lee!

Over the past few weeks, many of you may have become aware of the presence on this forum and in the Sam Baily social media outlets of our new web mogul, Jameson Lee. I have know Jamie for about 14 years now. We were roommates in college my junior year and he helped me through many rough patches of crazy back then. He is not only a fantastic friend and human being, he's also hella-creative and insightful. He is already a well known and respected sci-fi and pop-culture commentator over at his blog, The Daily P.O.P.: http://dailypop.wordpress.com/, but he is also the creator behind Zebramag, a comic anthology and website featuring a myriad of talented comic artists and writers: http://zebramag.com/.

Jamie's fiction is some of the most deceptively visceral I have read. He can tell you a story like Effin Kids (found on the Zebramag site) and make you laugh you ass off at the antics of cute little kids gone wild only to realize a few seconds later that you are laughing to cover the bad feeling you have in your stomach and your own horror. I have sat up all night listening to Jamie's ideas, convinced that they are the future of comics. But Jamie doesn't need me to tell him that, he's had writers who are icons in the comic industry tell him that his work are what comics need.

Jamie's work organizing and running Zebramag and Daily Pop are entrepreneurial in the extreme and I am honored and grateful to have him on the 8sided team. If you haven't already, check out his work!
