Sam Bailey - Draft 9

For those brand new to Sam Bailey, this is an independent feature film about a 600 year old man who sets out to erase the last public evidence of his extraordinary life... and who winds up learning how to live.

Our development process on this film is being maintained as a matter of public record. These days, an independent filmmaker who publishes his screenplay drafts and production designs before shooting is nothing new. We realize that. It's also one of the best ways to show an audience your film is worthy of support, and that support is a key element in getting the film made.

At this point, the script is in excellent shape. Every actor has something important to do in every scene they're in, which is how we know we're well past having the backbone of a good script, and into actual shootable territory. Barring the unforeseen shakeup that almost certainly will come, any rewrites will be of the tweaking, making things better variety.
