This button is the keystone of the marketing campaign behind the extremely successful 2009 indie darling
Paranormal Activity.
Please don't get me wrong - this button is not what made their film successful. Years of backbreaking labor roadshowing their movie, blogging, and building grassroots interest did that for them, and only after they shot a movie the public wanted to see.
At the same time, this button helped them organize the growing nationwide interest in their movie in a way that the studios could understand and capitalize on. This little button, in effect, took all the risk out of Paramount's decision to jump on board financially.
Please click this little button. When you find yourself on the Sam Bailey eventful page, all you have to do is click that big yellow "Demand It" button one more time and the world knows that you want to see this movie.
Then, please tell your friends. Part of why fresh movies out of Hollywood are so rare is that films cost money. Who wants to spend their money on something nobody wants to see?
Do people want to see this movie? Do you?
Please let us know, because it helps more than you can possibly imagine.
Paranormal Activity had 1,250,000 demands. Can you help us beat it?
Let's beat it.
