Over the last 600 years, Sam Bailey has been poisoned, stabbed, stoned, tortured, shot, drowned, and burned at the stake by those who learn his secret - Sam Bailey cannot die. Now, an illuminated manuscript written hundreds of years ago is the last remaining evidence of Sam Bailey’s extraordinary life... when a mysterious collector buys it at extravagant expense. Following the ancient tome to Boston, Sam begins a desperate search to find the book and bury his past forever.
In the year 2011, Boston cabbie Max DeStefano is taking a late-night break on a double shift. After listening to Max talk about money troubles and his daughter’s medical school, a stranger pays her bills and becomes her patron. In return, Max will help the find the manuscript that brought this man to Boston... and will bring Sam Bailey face-to-face with a man who would pay any price for immortality!
