This week, as part of my Company's 3 week acting intensive, we took part in a 3 hour workshop in Augsto Boal's Theatre of the Oppressed. This is a movement and an art form which started in Brazil and seeks to shatter the fourth wall and other theatre paradigms. It's purpose is to give theatre back to the audience and invites them to mold the piece they are watching. My question is, where can I see this in L.A.? I'm sure we have it here, it's a perfect place for it. Does anyone know a good place where I can see it?
