Thanks for pointing me in this direction Tennyson. I look forward to being active in the community you guys have created. I get great vibes from this site already!

My name is Jonathan Fugit and I am a composer based in Tampa, FL. I am 24 years old and I have a deep rooted love for the arts, especially music. I have devoted almost my entire life to music in one way or another and I will continue to do so until my last days. I love the idea of collaborating and putting music to film, because really movies and theater are the pinnacle of media and entertainment. To play a part in that is a gift I won't carry blindly.

I have never been classically trained nor will I ever seek it out. I feel that as a musician it is my responsibilty to develop my craft and unique creative perspective from my own personal experiences and bring that to life in my sound. I am glad to be here and hope to thrive right along with everyone here! If anyone ever has questions just ask.

Thank you,

Jon
I am one of 4 who run the A/V at my church. We run a 24 channel mixer board, three cameras, three monitors connected to to a multi switcher. We run 7 hand held mics and 2 head mics along with 4 cabled mics. We have 2 large projection screens for all our power points and videos. Our newest toy is an 11 disc duplicator (it is do pretty).
I have made short videos with action, stills and sound. I am a web site builder and administrator for 5 different web sites. I have worked in the following areas; Theater,Set Operation, Costumes, Casting, Editing, Camera Operation, Art Department, Producing, Directing, Writing, Catering, Wardrobe, Production
I have been the music/drama coordinator for a charter school. The Forth-Eight grades preformed a 50's musical for the parents and then at the County Fair.

I have been writing stories, poems and songs for as long as I can remember. I have 4 children books that I have to finish the art for. I draw, paint, do photo-manipulations and fractal art. In June of 2009 I first had a thought of turning one of my stories into a screenplay and have since started 7 different ones that I work on sharing time between them all. I am currently writing full time on one titled Cupids Assistant. I have a binder full of concepts that I am researching to turn into screenplays.

I am more of a behind the camera type of person on the account that I get nauseous and might throw up if I preform. I am a christian Gothic tomboy and self proclaimed flibbertigibbet.

Any questions just ask.

Becca
I have a question: Is the flibbertigibbet comment a Joe vs. the Volcano reference?
Totally!!!!

Outstanding!
I'm actually an entertainment industry consultant; I worked on economic development with entertainment companies in New Orleans for a couple of years before wandering off on my own. I also tend to take a mad scientist approach to everything and get way too excited about market statistics. I loves me some statistics. Also, I'm constantly trying to help out pretty much everyone around me whether I'm getting paid to do it or not; it's habit from working for a non-profit.

I play piano, clarinet, flute, piccolo, and bagpipes.

I'm full of random information. I love psychological films.

And I write for Geekachicas.com.
Hey, I grew up in Tampa! :)

I am an actor turned kitchen designer turned actor again. It seems I found myself wishing for my children to be given a life I was robbed of and that life was stability, a solid home, structure and love. Now that they are in their teen years they are off to a great start and I am back on the circuit. Since March of this year I have auditioned for and been cast in 12 student films, 2 Independents, and one commercial. I am a film and television style actor, not theater although I do enjoy being on stage as well. There's something about the audience and pressure to be on my game every night without several takes that appeals to my higher consciousness.
I have studied acting for years in L.A with Eric Morris and then on to theater with The Piven Theater company in Evanston Illinois. I now hone my craft daily with sense memory, dialect practice, character study, scene study and well, you get the drift. My goal is to find a good agent and audition for solid projects with a decent paycheck. I will work as an actor for a living soon. It's a matter of time, hard work, and a little luck.
I desire to surround myself with positive people that bring life to the industry and share common happiness and joy in our quest. I network with hundreds of people daily and know as a group we accomplish so many wonderful things together. It takes teamwork and faith. If I can share my successes an passion with folks by giving them ideas connections and advice from my own experiences then I am doing a good deed and no good deed goes unrewarded.
Thank you Tennyson for creating this site. I hope it survives for a long time and I shall continue to peruse it as often as I am able to. Good luck in all you do.
